The Mitchell Point Owners' Association is an organization-managed governing body. The association was formed in 1974. All members living within the neighborhood are invited annually to participate in the annual association meeting, which is held on the 2nd Saturday in July each year. The Board, which is made up of resident volunteers, is elected by the association members to serve alternating two year terms. The Board is managed by the association by-laws.
From a process perspective, the MPOA Board meets on a quarterly basis to manage and govern the neighborhood association business affairs.
